在路上了。 昨天Randy来信，描述了一下即将寄出的吉他，是我要求他将吉他的品弦距离（action）调低的，通常我弹不太会打品，如果确定太低，我另外买了几个猛犸象牙可以制作替代品： Hello Peter, The action is probably too low at 3.2/2.4 at the 12 th fret. There is a slight buzz if you hit the strings hard with rest strokes. It does however play very fast with a soft feel on the action. The neck is slightly narrower and thinner than my standard according to your specifications and I like it very much. I am sure you will find it delightful. The sound is excellent for this stage and you will notice that it will broaden out a good deal over the next several months. The Bass is warm yet focused for good projection while the high trebles especially have a lot of sustain and a nice singing quality. All of my guitars have actually improved on these qualities with time even though when new the guitar sounds like a well played-in instrument. I promise you will like it especially when played next to an existing conventional instrument. The acoustic port will surprise you with the presence it gives to the sound for the player with perhaps a slight advantage for the audience as well. You can demonstrate this to a player by standing behind tham and covering and uncovering the port as they play. The strings I have on the guitar are Hannabach 728 hard tension. In the case are an additional two sets: a set of 728 medium tension and a set of Hannabach 900 silver strings which may give a warmer more sensitive sound to your ear. The 900's should last a very long time. You can experiement with composite strings but in my experience they make the sound a bit "edgey" perhaps even harsh. I have used Hannabach Goldins and also Galli Nylons which worked well. Please observe carefully how the unwound strings are attached as this method helps to avoid and slipping and guitar damage behing the tiebloack. I will send you pictures and other materiels as previously mentioned. I am sure that the guitar will take several days to acclimate itself to your temperature and humidity so I would'nt change anything in terms of action. Also the sound will change as it adjusts as well. Regards, Randy 吉他预计一月四日到到中国。

其实Randy Reynolds早已让我在“大中华”地区代理他的吉他，由于我还没有拿到吉他，所以也没有公布这则消息。我可能会在一周内正式公布这则消息。 照顾吉他比照顾真正的小孩容易多了，所以我对吉他不“计划生育”。
