I had an opportunity to try the Yamaha GC41c of Michael Chapdelaine (www.michaelchapdelaine.com) I find that particular model is a good guitar for value. Because in my country(Malaysia) the sellinf price of it is similiar to other equivalent spanish guitar. For the material used & craftmanship, I find it's superb.. I find it's a good buy in overall.. Hello cguitar, About GC-41? What will you like to know about it? The GC-41c that I tried come with American Cedar soundboard, Honduras Rosewood back & sides (very attractive wood). Very comfortable neck especially for Asian hand. Playablity is comparable to the famous Manuel Contreras guitar which famous with their thin neck & outstanding playablity. The sound is sweet, real sweet. Well balance. Almost nothing to complain but the volume & projection of it is not as good as the other I mentioned. Lack of power.. I guess it can only hold up to 250 people hall which with good acoustic environment. Conclusion, it's good in it's own way & it will be the best buy in the price range. Michael Chapdelaine said it is the best in it's price category on earth. Yong
